Our school Board of Governors

Welcome to our Governors’ section.

 

Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor.

 

The Board of Governors consisting of representatives of the Catholic Church, Department of Education, South Eastern Education and Library Board, parents and staff has responsibility for the appointment of staff and running of the school.

Role of the Board of Governors

 

In Christ the Redeemer, the Board of Governors play an active role in all aspects of school life.  They fully support the teaching and learning taking place in the school by;

 

  • monitoring and reviewing the school policies on learning
  • supporting the various teaching strategies
  • meeting termly to evaluate the work  going on within the school.

 

The board meet regularly to ensure key communication is maintained between all involved.
