Handwriting

When writing, our brain sends a motor plan to our wrist and hand, enabling us to make the correct movement. Current research is showing that using Continuous Cursive Script or 'joined up writing' allows the brain to function without pausing between each letter.  This enables us to write with greater fluency and speed.  The 'Motor Memory' which we create when writing helps us to remember how to spell the word.  Therefore, Continuous Cursive Script can improve spelling.
